What does Miss New Mexico do?


After Miss New Mexico is selected she embarks on her "year of service." As a spokesperson and advocate, Miss New Mexico travels throughout the state, addressing diverse audiences, increasin awareness and promoting the Miss New Mexico platform.




What are the competition categories?


Preliminary competition includes Artistic Expression (Talent), Presentation and Community Achievement (Interview), Presences and Poise (Evening Wear) and Social Impact Statement, and On-Stage Interview.




Am I Eligible to Compete?


You must first win a local Miss Title in order to participate. To compete in a local program you must: Be at least 18 years of age as of July 31, 2019 Be a high school graduate or equivalent by July 21, 2019 Be a US Citizen Live, work full time, or attend chool full time in New Mexico Must not be older than 24 years of age as of December 21, 2019 Be single, never been married Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the local program in which you compete Set up a Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Fundraisng Page and riase $100 per local program (up to a maximum of 5 locals, after which this is no longer a requirement for subsequent competitions) Please check out the local pageants listed on this website to get in contact with a local director near you!
